NHL · LIFX and Govee score lights

Make your lights flash for the Tampa Bay Lightning

When the Lightning scores, your LIFX and Govee smart lights flash in their colors, right where you're watching. illumiscore watches the game for you.

Set it up for the Lightning

Free for one light and one team. No card needed.

What happens when the Lightning scores

illumiscore checks the scoreboard every few seconds during the game. When their score goes up (a goal), the lights you picked pulse between the team's two colors for about 16 seconds (Govee lights switch between them for about 10), then go back to how they were.

Prefer other colors? Pick your own for the Lightning on your dashboard. Scores can land a few seconds before or after your broadcast, and streams often run 30 seconds or more behind, so each light can wait up to 60 seconds before it flashes.

How it works

  1. Connect your lights

Sign up free, then paste a token from your LIFX account or an API key from Govee, or both. It takes a few minutes: here's where to click. No smart lights yet? See which ones work.

  2. Follow the Lightning

The button on this page picks the Lightning for you once you've signed up. Keep their colors or choose your own.

  3. Watch the game

Pick which lights flash and add a TV delay if your stream runs behind. When the Lightning win, your lights celebrate with a longer flash. You don't need to keep the site open.

Do my lights flash for every goal?
Yes. Every time the Lightning scores (a goal), the lights you picked pulse in their colors. A team flashes at most once every 30 seconds.
Will the lights flash before I see it on TV?
They can. Scores come from public scoreboards and can land a few seconds before or after the broadcast, and streams often run 30 seconds or more behind. Give each light a TV delay (up to 60 seconds) and it waits before flashing.
Which lights work?
LIFX and Govee lights that show colors and connect over Wi-Fi: bulbs, strips, lamps, downlights. Set them up in the LIFX or Govee Home app first. Nothing else to install.
Can I use other colors for the Lightning?
Yes. Your lights pulse in the team's two colors unless you pick your own for the Lightning on your dashboard.
